Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of R&D to lead and drive our research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, extensive software development experience, and hands-on expertise with modern technologies. This role requires a leader with excellent technical and communication skills to help us expand our engineering team while maintaining high technical standards and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Deep understanding of technical architecture, code reviews, and technical direction to maintain high-quality standards across

• Project Lead: Plan, execute, and deliver R&D projects within deadlines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Performance Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the R&D process.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend-end and full-stack technologies.
• At least 3 years of experience as an R&D Manager, with proven success in managing and mentoring teams.
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Proven expertise in designing and building scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS companies, particularly in AWS & GCP environments
• Deep understanding of Python and relational databases.
• Experience with React
• Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and best practices.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with the cybersecurity field is a significant advantage.
  
  

Leadership:

• Ability to lead the technical aspects of complex projects and distributed R&D teams.
• Experience managing and mentoring offshore team members.
  
  

Communication:

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with backend technologies and cloud platforms.
