We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to join and lead the Gateway development group in our Data Security group. The group is responsible for developing & testing a market leading real time monitoring solution, using cutting edge technologies to handle extremely high volumes of data.

As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will be leading a group of several teams that develops our state-of-the-art product and be responsible for different technologies and projects end-to-end while maintaining high-quality standards.

You will be involved in high profile projects, including the ongoing project of transitioning the product into the cloud, and gain a unique perspective into Imperva’s Data Security solution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a top-notch group of several development and automation teams in a challenging agile environment
  • Lead the technical vision of the gateway component and bring it to implementation
  • Structure and build the group for success
  • Become an expert in the Data security component
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the product
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Support Imperva’s customers with the Data Security product
  • Mentor and develop professional growth of the teams
  • Develop and build the team, focus on delivery and execution
  • Implement and maintain agile development practices
  • Collaborate with other groups in the business unit including product management and other development teams

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of experience in a similar position leading few development and automation teams in an agile environment
  • 5+ Years of experience as a dev manager - a must
  • Experience in managing global teams across a few locations – Must
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in C\C++
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent design and analytical skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent from a known university
  • High technical capabilities
  • Versatility
  • Strong background in Linux systems
