We are seeking a passionate and hands-on BI\Data Engineering Manager to join our Data Department.

The BI\ Data Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of BI developers\Data Engineers to deliver high-quality BI solutions that drive business insights and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in BI tools and technologies, and a proven track record of successfully managing BI projects.

Responsibilities - What you’ll be doing?

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Architect, own, and manage our data warehouse, ensuring data quality, integrity, and efficiency.
• Develop and initiate advanced ETL process and data models and maintain existing ones
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, define data strategies, and deliver clear timelines.
• Implement best practices for data integration, transformation, modeling and storage.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer \ Data Engineer with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using DBT, Python etc.
• Excellent hands-on SQL skills.
• Proven track record in defining, managing, and delivering BI projects
• Self-driven, motivated, independent, yet communicative and collaborative with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with Snowflake
• BA / BSc in Computer Science / Industrial Engineering or equivalent academic knowledge
