The role

We are seeking an experienced Custom Backend Developer to join our TV platform custom backend team. The ideal candidate will specialize in developing tailored backend solutions that meet specific client needs. This role involves understanding client requirements, and ensuring seamless integration with front-end components and other systems.

The day-to-day

• Develop and maintain custom server-side components
• Create reusable code and libraries for future customization projects.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for custom backend solutions.
• Implement security and data protection measures specific to client solutions.
• Write and maintain unit tests for custom backend functionalities.
• Troubleshooting and debug custom applications to optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on customizations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product, architecture, QA, DevOps, and other development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Ideally, we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proven track record with at least 3 years of as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Expertise in server-side development using .NET, Go
• Experience with data layers, SQL and noSQL, CouchBase, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Kafka
• A team player with a quick learning ability and the capacity to work independently

These would also be nice:

• Good understanding of working with Kubernetes containers
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
