APERIO are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute significantly to the

development and scaling of our backend infrastructure and services.

As a key player in our

engineering organization, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing the core

systems that power our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in designing and building Aperio's backend with a focus on large-scale data processing.
• Implement and drive best practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Build and own critical components of Aperio data processing platform.
• Collaborate with frontend and data-science teams.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer on a high-scale distributed system, working in a Linux environment.
• 4+ years of Python development.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• 2+ years of extensive experience with working in a multi-cloud environment
• 2+ years of proven hands-on experience with containerized environments, Docker and K8s - MUST
• 2+ years of IaC coding Experience with networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, network topologies)
• The mindset and approach for automating away from manual efforts

Good to have skills:

• Experience with message queuing systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with NoSQL Databases.
• Experience with languages such as C# and/or C++.
• Experience with big-data handling.
• Experience with proficiency with CI/CD - GitLab
