We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Cato team. In this critical role, you will be developing our cloud-based personalized networking and security management solutions. The position involves developing end-to-end new products and features with a direct and observable impact on the customers. In addition, you will also be building microservices that work in near real-time environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new features and infrastructure improvements - from design to implementation, testing and deployment.
• Develop microservices that work in high scale and in near real-time performance
• Leverage AI technologies to improve Cato's UX and accessibility.
• Focus on performance, stability and quality using consistent coding patterns.
• Research and embed new technologies and best practices in the development team
• Help teammates solve problems, conduct code reviews and drive design reviews.
• Follow SCRUM development methodologies.
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend development using Java and Spring boot.
• A team player with an excellent collaboration skills
• Motivated, fast learner, independent and great at problem solving
• Proven experience with high performance and high scale systems.
• Experience with architecture, design and development of complex web applications.
• Self-learner of new skills and technologies
• Experience with SaaS / Cloud Based Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) technologies
