About the department

The Data Engineering department is responsible for full-stack design and development of the company's central data & ML services and business platforms. The department is responsible for the overall projects, design, architecture and development of huge scale and very challenging cloud-based Big Data, machine learning and business applicative platforms for ensuring excellence in the performance of business aspects including games & product design, marketing, retention, monetization, etc. Department solutions support the optimization of the company's overall business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support Data Science team: Assist in deploying, integrating, and monitoring machine learning / IA models.
  • Build end to end data solutions by translating business requirements into technical solutions, creating complex ETL processes and data visualizations.
  • Design and build heavily used reports, visualizations and dashboards
  • Hands-on development and delivery of BI solutions using BI technologies (Qlik Sense/Looker/Tableau)
  • Understand business needs and translate them into BI-based solutions.
  • Train end-users for maximizing reports effectiveness
  • Perform research and POC’s on new data tools and technologies.

What we expect

  • 4+ years of experience in developing BI dashboards and complex measures in Qlik Sense/Looker/Tableau or other data visualization solutions (Qlik Sense- advantage) - Must
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Scala/Python – Must
  • Expert in writing efficient sql queries and optimize performance (SparkSQL/BigQuery - advantage) - Must
  • Experience in developing ETL processes - Advantage
  • You can write Technical Designs and turn business requirements to technical solutions
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related

Desired

  • Experience building semantic layer
  • Statistic background in the data science area
  • Experience working on cloud solutions (GCP a big advantage)
  • Experience working with notebook solutions (Databricks, Jupyter, Zeppelin)
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Analyst / data storytelling experience
