We're looking for as Data Engineer to join Global-e Data services department and take a significant part in the development of Global-e's core systems.

We’re looking for someone who's passionate about technology and data (pipes), with end-to-end experience developing data pipelines, working in a complex, cloud-based environment.

Part of the responsibilities you'll have are:

• Designing and implementing infrastructure.
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance.
• Automating our deployment process.
• Maintaining and updating infrastructure and applications.
• Providing troubleshooting and debugging support.
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• You have experience with infrastructure automation.
• You have experience with coding/scripting languages.
• You know how to use Git and version control.
• You have worked with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• You have worked with different types of databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, Couchbase, Mongo, etc.
• You have worked with Data pipelines and tools such as Debezium and Kafka
• You are a creative thinker and like to design out-of-the-box solutions to solve a number of problems.
• You have excellent communication skills in English.
