Lead DBA for Financial Organization

As the sole Database Administrator (DBA) , you will be responsible for the maintenance, performance, and security of all database systems. This role involves both infrastructural and application-level database management primarily focusing on SQL. Expertise in Oracle and MySQL is a plus.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

• Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and tuning of database systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

• Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity.

• Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and support application development.

• Conduct regular database health checks and generate performance reports.

• Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed.

What can make you a great fit?

• At least 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA

• Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases-advantage

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Familiarity with HA/DR solutions.
