We’re looking for a Senior Applicative SQL Server DBA to join our fast-growing R&D department.

Must have in-depth knowledge and experience in DB design, system monitoring & maintenance, implementation of internal tools & processes, and the ability to handle and troubleshoot complex queries and flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to Application Development teams.
• Perform DB design/code review, and SQL query tuning.
• Troubleshoot performance and data issues, and implement, test and deploy SQL hot fixes.
• Upgrade and improve application schema and data.
• Research and study new databases and perform POCs.
• Configure and maintain database processes, including monitoring of system health and performance tuning using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as an application SQL Server DBA.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Multi-tasking and working well under deadlines in a changing environment, strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Experience with PostgreSQL – Big advantage
• Experience with CouchBase and MongoDB - Advantage
• Experience with PowerShell - Advantage
