Faye is seeking an experienced Head of Data with a minimum of 5-6 years hands-on experience in building and managing data teams and infrastructure. As the Head of Data, you will play a central role in driving data-driven decision making within the company. Your expertise in data analysis and strong leadership skills will be crucial in guiding our organization towards achieving its goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and executing the company's data strategy and roadmap, including data governance, data quality, and data management.
• Determine relevant business metrics, analytics, and questions and seek to provide relevant and actionable insights.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting on key areas of the business, including: product adoption and analytics, and growth/sales performance.
• Promote data literacy within the organization.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, providing guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities including hands-on work.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust data infrastructure.
• Develop deep partnerships with engineering and product teams to deliver on major cross-functional projects.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Excellent communication skills, including primary or native fluency in English.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in either data engineering or analysis.
• Experience in a management or leadership role.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CI/CD, data architectures, pipelines, quality, and code management
• Experience with ETL and ELT processes.
• Experience with common data languages (e.g. Python, Scala), SQL, and data warehouses (e.g. Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks).
