Job Description

Western Digital is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data team with focus on SQL, reporting and analysis experience which would be a significant part of the data transformation of the company to address business challenges and revenue maximization.

In this role, you will work closely with business crews, and sales managers to understand the requirements and build reports using analytics tools mainly Power BI, you will be part of the Data Platform team and work with the Data Engineers.

• Understand the analytics requirements and convert them into a dashboard and clear call to present in Dashboard
• Write SQL queries and ETL according to logic definition
• Migration of existing reports which are Tableau into Power BI
• Come with a clear call to action for sales management
• Reporting and analysis for management - present meaningful insights, recommendations, and conclusions
• Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify patterns or trends from multiple data sources
• Collaborate with senior engineers and program managers to create strategic architecture and vision for our group charter
• Partner with sales managers focusing on sales process optimization
• Become an expert in our existing systems in order to innovate on their further improvement
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience as a Data/Product/Business Analyst
• Proven experience in creating dashboards and analysis in Power BI
• Sharp, data-driven, and creative with outstanding analytical skills
• Demonstrate leadership abilities
• SQL skill
• Strong storytelling and communication skills
• Experience in Data visualization in Tableau & Power BI
• Jira, Salesforce- advantage
