Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a talented back end engineer, who’s passionate about learning new technologies and creating new products. Essentially, we are striving for the new developer to learn GO and PHP, and immerse himself/herself in our framework and API development. 

You’ll be joining a core team of experienced and ambitious developers building production-grade back end and front end services, all while collaborating with your peers to define architecture and quality standards. 

Qualifications: 

• Experience working with AWS Including: API Gateway, Lambda, RDS (Mysql), MemoryDB, Redis, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, S3, Cloudfront, MediaConvert
• Experience building microservice-based architectures
• Good SQL knowledge
• Knowledge of PHP / GO - advantage
• Strong technical problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• BSc in computer science (or equivalent)
• Experience working with Polaris (Managed Druid Server) - added bonus
• Continuous integration/delivery - added bonus

Responsibilities: 

• Design, build and maintain efficient and reliable code for the development of our API 
• Develop and optimize backend features and components that interface with platform infrastructure. This includes collaborating with front end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration
• Take entire infrastructure components from ideation through design and implementation across a broad range of technologies and environments
