GreenOnyx is looking for an experienced data scientist with a flair for biology to be a major component of our novel ML project. You will be in the center of designing, implementing, and testing and delivering a unique solution, with a crucial role in a well-established hardware-based product.

Primary Responsibilities:

•      Design and implement a basic data pipeline and expeirments plan.

•      Support hardware team as part of collaborative effort.

•      Design, implement, and deploy ML/DL algorithms.

•      Apply quantitative analyses.  

•      Automate data collection and pre-processing for structured and unstructured data

•      Report to management and impact major processes within the entire company.

•      Help GreenOnyx expand its teams.

Basic Requirements:

•      2+ years of proven Data Scientist experience, any biological context is an advantage.

•      Python expertise is a must!

•      Experience in data acquisition and management process is an advantage.

•      Profound understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.

•      Applied statistics skills, including distributions and statistical testing

•      Basic proficiency in query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig

•      Data-oriented personality, analytical mindset, and problem-solving aptitude

•      Strong team player with excellent communication skills

•      B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant field. M.Sc. or a Ph.D. is an advantage.

•      Fluent in English, both written and verbal
