Seeking a Co-Founder/CTO for Our Startup in the Future of Work and Passion Economy

Sidely is a community-based SaaS platform with a gamified step-by-step methodological process that enables individuals to discover their own passion, learn new skills, and develop side projects based on it.

It's an intuitive, user-friendly platform that accompanies users from the first steps of ideation to launching it to the world, supported by a dedicated worldwide community of like-minded people. Following 5 years of seeing it happen, with over 1,200 side projects developed in our group's consultancy-based model, we aim to increase this effect and make our impact global. 

Role Description

We are looking to add to our founding team a CTO who lives and breathes development and technology, with extensive knowledge and the ability to work hands-on, with relevant professional experience, managerial ability and teamwork, with a strong desire to succeed and a desire to be part of something big.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and scaling of our SaaS platform.
• Craft and execute a clear technological vision that aligns with our business goals.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure technology enhances user experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• First and foremost - good vibes, a positive attitude towards life, and a genuine interest in what we do.
• 5+ years of hands-on Full Stack development experience
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate a product vision that inspires and motivates the team
• Extensive experience in designing, building, and shipping production-grade SaaS applications
• You have hired and managed development teams, you eat agile for breakfast
• You have experience designing, implementing, and scaling software solutions on cloud providers such as AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Proven experience in architecture and system design
• Extensive experience with CI/CD
• Familiarity with basic AI concepts and techniques
• Experience in integrating AI components into software applications
• Ability to evaluate and select appropriate AI models for specific use cases
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
