We are looking to hire our first devrel engineer, to lead all our developer relations efforts.

Company Description

Odigos leverages eBPF technology to create an open-source solution that can automatically generate distributed traces for any application without any code changes. Developers are struggling with extracting and delivering high-quality monitoring data. Currently, building a pipeline is a manual process that takes months to implement, is an error-prone process that requires tons of code changes across multiple R&D teams, and demands collaboration.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Developer Relations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between our company and the broader developer community, fostering strong relationships, providing education and support, and gathering insightful feedback to drive our product improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality technical content including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and documentation to help users understand and effectively utilize our products.
  • Product Advocacy: Serve as a product expert and advocate in interactions with developers. Introduce new features and ensure that developers have the latest product knowledge.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with the developer community through social media, forums, and events. Represent Odigos at conferences, workshops, and hackathons.
  • Support and Training: Provide developer support by troubleshooting issues, responding to queries, and conducting training sessions. Ensure a high level of user satisfaction through excellent service and support.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in software development or developer relations.
  • Strong technical proficiency in open-source projects, cloud-native ecosystem & developer tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content for a technical audience.
  • Experience in public speaking and community engagement.
  • Passion for technology
