Job Title: Senior Data Science Team Lead

The Position:

We're looking for a Data Science Team Lead to lead a team of data scientists and engineers in designing, developing and maintaining models and algorithms that enable automated detection of harmful content, whether it is images, text, videos or audio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the quality, robustness and scalability of our models and data infrastructure, while mentoring your team and taking our mission to the next level, at scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor and inspire a cross-functional agile team, including hiring, training, and mentoring
• Own full lifecycle of models and features, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment, while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams, product, clients and management to collect requirements, define and monitor key metrics, and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship
• Deliver high-performance models and data solutions that provide maximum value to our customers.

Does this describe you?

• PhD/MSc in CS/Engineering/Mathematics/Neuroscience/Physics/Statistics or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years leading a data science team, with proven experience leading and integrating multiple projects in parallel
• 5+ years practical experience as a full stack data scientist in two or more of the following: computer vision, transformer-based language models, deep learning, large scale data systems.
• Track record of bringing AI-based products from the POC stage to production at scale.
• Extensive experience working with production data at scale and cloud ecosystems.
• Proven Python development skills
• Excited by solving big, impactful problems.
