We are looking for a
Senior Software Engineer to be part of
Cyber Security group.
What will you do:
- Design, develop, and maintain the Crystal Ball platform, ensuring its efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code in Python, leveraging AI technologies to perform security analysis of ECUs, firmware, and embedded devices.
- Collaborate closely with the penetration testing team and security engineers to understand their requirements and incorporate their insights into the development process.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to identify and resolve any issues or vulnerabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cybersecurity, AI, and related technologies, and apply them to enhance the capabilities of the Crystal Ball platform.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of cyber security posture by ensuring that Crystal Ball scans every firmware that goes into GM vehicles, thereby enhancing the security of millions of future vehicles.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development, with a focus on Python, MongoDB, ODM, Linux / UNIX, testing and documentation.
- Proven track record of working on complex software projects and delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and practices
- Familiarity with filesystems
- Familiarity with C++ build tools, linking, ELF structure
