Job Description
We are searching for a skilled Data Manager to become a part of its Commercial Operations unit. The successful candidate will take on a leadership role in the data team, collaborate with business units to create a data roadmap, work with the leadership team to develop a data strategy, promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, and implement effective data solutions and methodologies to maximize the use of data in achieving business objectives.
This position involves extensive collaboration across various departments, such as business units, IT, the digital team, etc. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, be creative and organized, and have extensive knowledge of data technology and hands-on experience.
Functional Responsibilities
- Lead the data team and play a crucial role in the leadership team of the commercial operation unit.
- Lead the data transformation of the organization, execute the data strategy, and ensure that it aligns with the business strategy.
- Create data sources (internal and external) using a structured and innovative approach.
- Utilize organizational data to generate valuable business insights and foster data accessibility across the organization.
- Stay aligned with the corporate data strategy by staying connected to global and regional data teams.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
- Managerial experience in the fields of data and analytics.
- Possession of strong leadership skills.
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- More than five years of "hands-on" experience working with data and an excellent knowledge of data technology and tools.
- An excellent understanding of business practices and orientation.
- Possession of creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
