Zorro - an early stage, well funded startup at the intersection of healthcare and fintech looking for a Senior Data Analyst/Data Lead 🚀🦄🎉

Who we are: Zorro is tackling the trillion-dollar US healthcare industry by building data-driven personalized insurance solutions that help US employers offer customized insurance to their employees, and help employees choose the best insurance using smart, data-driven methods. We have a working product and customers and are quickly scaling our solution. Zorro was founded by repeat entrepreneurs and experts in the field with a background in VC. We are a small, 15 person driven and fun team based in TLV (near HaShalom).  

About the role: the role will lead data work across all parts of company: 

• ⁠Data analytics/science - immerse and become an expert in US health insurance in order to build and improve the data-driven parts of Zorro’s offerings (e.g. - a recommendation engine for top insurance plans based on employee personal preferences) 
• Data scouting/integration - find unique data sources, integrate them into our warehouse and continuously enhance our warehouse and its pipelines
• ⁠⁠BI - building smart dashboards that provide insights to ops, finance and other stakeholders
• Product analytics - provide observability by defining the events and the data schema for effective product monitoring and analysis

Role requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Data or Product Analyst
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting
• Strong command of SQL
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as Airflow, DBT and RiveryExperience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Looker
• Experience establishing data projects and/or teams from scratch - a plus
• MOST IMPORTANT: excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization
