Job Description

• Play a crucial role in the development of the Wix Stores Suppliers Hub (our multi-supplier marketplace)
• Work on scalable solutions using event-driven architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle for feature development, from initial discussions with product teams, defining requirements, architecture and API design, to actual coding in collaboration with the team, monitoring performance, and delivering robust solutions to end-users
• Take on the exciting challenges of scaling our system and integrating with 3rd parties
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• An awesome, motivated developer with experience using Java server-side technologies in a web environment
• You have experience in Scala, an in-depth understanding of OOP, SOLID, and you know functional programming principles
• You’re passionate about design, TDD methodology and microservice architecture
• You’re flexible, willing to adjust to context changes and you’re comfortable taking on responsibility and working independently
• You’re an open-minded self-learner, who keeps up with the latest technologies
• You enjoy being part of a team, collaborating with others to achieve common goals

We’re Wix’s Suppliers Hub - an R&D team, based in Krakow, responsible for the development of Suppliers Hub - a suppliers marketplace, dropshipping, and print-on-demand solution helping online store owners source quality products. Our R&D team includes frontend and backend engineers, QA engineers, and product managers. As part of Wix Stores and eCom Platform groups, we have a significant impact on the development of the best eCommerce platform in the world.

Wix's eCom Platform team develops the best eCommerce platform in the world, a product that will allow Wix to provide a unified eCommerce infrastructure for all of its verticals, including Online Stores, Wix Bookings, Wix Events, Wix Restaurants, Wix Velo users, Agencies, and more. Our team plays a crucial role in Wix’s strategic focus on eCommerce and brings seamless and user-friendly experiences to our customers.
