We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Data Engineer to join our Point of Care and Handheld Ultrasound Algorithm team at our Haifa site. The successful candidate will design and develop and maintain innovative Data Management and Dev Ops solutions tailored for modern AI needs solutions in a fast-growing medical ultrasound domain.
Job Description
Responsibilities{{:}}
Definition development and maintenance of database solutions
Support and optimize data processes and automations
Data preparation and analysis for regulatory submissions
Translate product and clinical needs to a data architecture
Leading cross-team data workflow with Algo, Clinical, Verification and Product teams
Requirements{{:}}
Must{{:}}
- BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering or similar
- Hands-on experience in data management and curation with Python, Excel
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and query optimizations.
- Working with file formats such as JSON, CSV, Parquet, FHIR, DICOM.
- Experience with writing unit, component, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- A team player. Collaborative and communicative. Able to adapt to change
Advantage{{:}}
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers (Such as AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Working with technologies such as AWS Lambda, S3, Athena, API Gateway, DynamoDB.
- Working with orchestrators such as AWS Step Functions, Event Bridge, SQS/SNS, Kinesis or Kafka.
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure as code tools (e.g. AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK)
- Experience with Dataframe-based libraries (Pandas, Polars, PySpark)
Background in medicine / medical industry and experience with standard medical terminologies such as UMLS
