About the Job

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our expert development team. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our business. We are looking for an individual who not only possesses outstanding technical skills but also has a keen understanding of our business, the market we operate in, and exhibits excellent communication and organizational skills.

You will take the lead in developing state-of-the-art data infrastructure across the company and make significant contributions to our product development team. Your responsibilities will include leading data engineering initiatives and implementing robust security features to protect our customers.


Responsibilities

  • Hands-on leading and development of our company-wide BI infrastructure.
  • Take ownership of features from end to end, including design, development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Understand and prioritize essential features that will significantly impact our business.
  • Make data-driven decisions and leverage data to drive product enhancements.
  • Lead and initiate innovative solutions.


Requirements

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Innovativity, creativity, and business acumen.
  • A self and quick learner with a passion for continuous growth.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis.
  • Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or other BI Data Warehouses or Lakes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience in implementing automated deployment and testing processes.
  • DBT (Data Build Tool) - an advantage.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes - an advantage.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - an advantage.
