What you will do:
Autobrains’ L4 R&D group is growing and looking for an experienced Data Engineer.
In this role, you will work in the advanced-features R&D team being responsible for the data management crucial to training deep learning-based driving policy models.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement systems to ingest, store, and manage large volumes of data from vehicles, including sensor data like cameras and GPS.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the integrity and quality of data through robust validation and cleansing processes.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
- Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
- Facilitate data analysis by providing clear and accessible data to data scientists and analysts.
- Develop tools and dashboards for monitoring and reporting on data and system performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists to prepare datasets for training machine learning models.
- Implement and maintain systems for deploying and monitoring machine learning models in a production environment.
- Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical support and expertise in resolving data-related issues.
Requirements
- BSc in a relevant discipline (e.g., EE/CS/Applied Math/Physics/Bio Engineering/Computational Biology/etc.)
- Proficiency in Python and bash.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with FTP servers.
- Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
- Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Understanding of basic machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) - Advantage
- Familiarity with database management systems such as SQL - Advantage
- Understanding of the autonomous vehicle industry and related technologies - Advantage
- Experience with MLOps - Advantage
