Ledge is hiring a Business Analyst to join our team. In this role you will support our customers' use of the product, dig into their data to feed insights back into the product, and take a significant part in our relationships with them.

We are looking for someone who is savvy in data analysis tools, and is comfortable in engaging in both financial and technical conversations across multiple levels of an organization.

What you’ll do

• Analyze financial data to identify patterns and codify those patterns
• Support customers in their onboarding end-to-end including diving into their data, extracting rules that govern it, and collecting meaningful insights
• Discuss financial workflows with our customers and implement them as logic into our systems
• Deploy new logic to production
• Communicate customer needs and requirements to Product and Marketing teams to inform our product roadmap and go to market strategy
• Understand the present state of client scenarios and streamline models and established procedures through the implementation of processes on the Ledge platform.
• Gather customer feedback and work collaboratively with the product and engineering teams to enhance Ledge products
  
  

Requirements:

• Fluency with SQL and vast experience with BI tools
• Excellent communications skills and ability to take part in direct conversations with customers
• Can quickly identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to drive actionable insights
• Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. We are a startup and need people who are ok doing things outside their traditional job description.
• Ability to reduce complex concepts to formal logic, and create a clear visualization that "tells the story"
• Fluency with scripting languages like Python - an advantage
• Accounting background and an understanding of how finance teams operate. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or a similar field - an advantage
