Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer. The Data Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain data processing systems. The Data Engineer will lead data modelling, Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, data warehousing, and data analytics projects.
Infrastructure Development: abilities to lead the setup and configuration of infrastructure required for data collection, ensuring the reliability and scalability of systems.
IoT Implementation: Familiarity with technologies and protocols to effectively integrate and manage sensor networks.
Database Management: Proficiency in designing and managing databases for storing sensor data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee the setup of the infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with the project goals and timelines of a moving fast startup.
Scalability: Capability to design infrastructure that can scale as data volumes grow, accommodating the evolving needs of the project.
Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and the ability to leverage cloud resources for scalability and data analysis.
