As an Entry-Level Computer Vision Engineer at UVeye, you will actively contribute to the development and enhancement of classical computer vision algorithms for automatic vehicle inspection. We are looking for an
Entry-Level Computer Vision Engineer, focusing on classical algorithms for vehicle inspection applications. You will actively contribute to the development and enhancement of classical computer vision algorithms for automatic vehicle inspection. This role is ideal for a candidate who is eager to learn, collaborate, and grow within a dynamic team environment.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Algorithmic enhancement - improve and optimize classical computer vision algorithms for robust vehicle inspection, and collaborate on refining algorithms for accurate detection and analysis.
- Performance Evaluation - assess the performance of computer vision algorithms and analyze metrics for continuous improvement, and work closely with senior engineers to interpret results and enhance inspection systems.
- Production Integration - integrate and deploy classical computer vision algorithms seamlessly into production systems, and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the scalability and reliability of implemented solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and training opportunities.
- work with diverse teams to understand project requirements and contribute to continuous technology improvement.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Solid understanding of classical computer vision algorithms.
- Programming skills in Python, with emphasis on scientific libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn as well as computer vision ones such as opencv.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to adapt to new technologies.
