Job Description
- Convert business and product requirements into data models while working closely with key stakeholders
- Develop complex data workflows using Python and Airflow
- Design, maintain, and optimize the Wix Customer Care Data Warehouse
- Build automation processes to support our data pipelines
- Bring new ideas and initiatives to help teams at Wix make purely data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with a large team of skilled data engineers on a wide variety of projects
Qualifications:
- An experienced Data Engineer with 2+ years of coding experience in SQL and Python
- You have experience maintaining Airflow pipelines
- You understand the importance of business goals and know how to collaborate with others to push the organization forward as a whole
- You speak English well, are comfortable giving presentations, and can communicate your ideas clearly to stakeholders
About The Team
We are Wix’s Data Engineer Guild. We’re responsible for all the data related to performance, stability, and user experience of all the traffic going to Wix sites. We play a central role in providing accurate data to support the performance efforts at Wix by creating and maintaining a modern data infrastructure that anyone at Wix can use, including a data warehouse and tools for reporting, alerting, and A/B testing. We’re one of the most challenging and satisfying Data groups at Wix, with plenty of growth and learning opportunities.
