Your Career

We are looking for a motivated, Senior Backend QA Engineer to join the Cortex XSOAR development team in our Tel Aviv R&D center. As our QA engineer, you will be in charge of implementing a new QA process within the XSOAR group and integrating it with the development cycle. In this role, you will work closely with the developers, and be in charge of planning, monitoring and executing the QA efforts in all new features and bug fixes.

You need to have a passion for improving the overall quality of the product you test. All this in a fast pace process of development, test, and release. Cortex XSOAR is a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response family of products that were formerly developed by Demisto (acquired in 2019). XSOAR is a comprehensive Security Operations Platform that combines full case management, intelligent automation, and collaborative investigation. Our teams focus on innovating the most advanced SOAR platform, on adding more integrations to 3rd party products, covering more use cases and more automations as well as expanding the threat intelligence capabilities of XSOAR . Your Impact

Test Our Cloud And On-prem Services, Which Include

• Build and establish the QA process within the development cycle
• Be the QA owner of relevant user stories, from inception to delivery inside a development team
• Work closely with development engineers and product management
• Design and execute tests for new features or major redesign of existing features
• Execute QA cycles on a tight release schedule
• Learn about security solutions and technologies
• Integration with GCP Cloud Computing
• Integration with other Palo Alto Networks cloud services
• Debug failures in complex environments
  
  

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 6+ years of software testing experience
• Experience writing testing documents (STDs/ATPs) and knowledge of various testing methodologies
• Experience with both frontend and backend testing of cloud-based and on-prem services
• Knowledge of GCP cloud computing, MySQL, and REST API
• Self-learner and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies in a relatively short time
• Academic degree(s) in Computer Science or equivalent or equivalent military experience – an advantage
• Experience working with Linux based environments - an advantage
• Knowledge of scripting and a programming language - an advantage
• Experience in test automation – an advantage
• Security background in general and security programs knowledge in particular – an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English
• The candidate should also possess the ability to work under pressure with extreme deadlines, prioritize projects, and maintain focus and a sense of humor
