Responsibilities:

  • Be at the forefront of driving innovation in the field of computer vision and deep learning for personalized medicine.
  • Lead a team of experts in the development of cutting-edge computer vision algorithms and deep learning models that harness the power of medical imaging to discover novel digital biomarkers and improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead the analysis of large, complex datasets and lead the development of innovative solutions that utilize multiple data modalities, including tissue samples, genomics, and clinical data.
  • Play a critical role in defining Nucleai's AI strategy in the field of computer vision and deep learning, ensuring that the team's research aligns with the company's goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with medical institutions and academia.
  • Collaborate with medical institutions to integrate real-world evidence into impactful, evidence-based solutions.



Requirements:

  • MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in machine learning and computer vision.
  • Deep technical knowledge in computer vision, deep learning, and supporting software and MLOps environments.
  • Track record of prototyping and delivering production-level solutions to meet business and customer needs.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with research institutions and academia.
  • High-quality publications - Is an advantage.
  • Actively participating in open-source projects and ML competitions (Kaggle) - Is an advantage.
