Position

Title: Junior DevOps Engineer (12month internship)

Location: Israel

Available to Graduates/Students (last year) in B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent/IDF technological unit equivalent/DevOps boot camp graduate

What You Will Do

  • Participate in monitoring the company's multi-zone AWS site
  • Work closely with the development teams, operations, monitoring, and additional stakeholders and guide the teams to improve processes, design processes and implementation
  • Keep the company CI\CD pipeline operational
  • Use state-of-the-art tools that will allow us to easily control, monitor, and fully automate our customers and our own infrastructures
  • Maintain, improve, and scale the lab and production sites for high volumes (users and activities)
  • Become an experienced DevOps engineer by deeply understanding the product technical solutions and mastering DevOps tools and CI\CD

What Makes You An Ideal Candidate

  • Self learner - Ability to easily learn and apply new technologies
  • Good programming skills in Java / C# / Groovy / OO languages
  • Experience with OS configurations, networking and management - Windows and Linux
  • Take part in the on-call after-hours support rotation (including weekends from time to time)
  • Experience with VM infrastructure
  • Passionate, Team player, Quality Driven with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

It is not mandatory but will be a bonus if you know some of the following:

  • Knowledge of CI tools & technologies (Docker, K8S, Git, GitHub)
  • Familiarity with CI\CD process and DevOps frameworks and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible
  • Understanding of Cloud infrastructure - specifically AWS services such as EC2, S3 and more
  • Experience with automation and monitoring frameworks (such as: Selenium, APIs, Maven, JUnit, Grafana, Telegraf)
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and PaaS tools such as Terraform – Advantage
