Our engineering teams are responsible for everything that runs on our OT appliance. From low level network data collection, through reverse engineering proprietary communication protocols, up to complex algorithms and high level software architecture.

As the manager of a team you will be in charge of the technology produced by the team as well as for the people in it. The engineering manager has a crucial role in our organization as it has the ability to navigate our design and technical decisions as they happen on a daily basis.

Your Opportunity:

  • Build and Empower Teams: Develop, empower, and maintain a high-performing team of on-site engineers, ensuring a great working environment and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with VP, Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering leadership to define the strategy for the OT team and align the team with the business goals.
  • Project Execution: Ensure reliable execution and delivery of projects by setting your teams up for successful delivery. This includes providing clear direction, removing obstacles, and ensuring the team is focused on business goals and held accountable for their deliverables.
  • Technical Contribution: Assist with design decisions and demonstrate the ability to understand and improve product performance and stability through code and design reviews.


What You’ll Need:

  • Engineering Leadership: 3+ years of previous experience as a Team lead with measurable success of a backend team. Proficiency in Go is preferred but not mandatory; a strong desire to learn it quickly is essential.
  • Agile Experience: Experience in leading projects and coaching engineers through a project’s lifecycle in an Agile environment, utilizing Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Microservices Expertise: Experience working with distributed and scalable microservices.
  • Leadership Skills: Superb leadership skills and the ability to harness the team to produce the highest quality deliverables with the greatest velocity, working in a high-paced environment.
  • Talent Management: Ability to attract and hire great engineers, empower and mentor them toward success.
  • Highly technical domain: 3+ years of experience either as a manager or as an engineer in the cyber security domain or another highly technical domain.
  • Technical Proficiency:experience with multi-threaded and network programming, strong understanding of network application architecture and data structures, and an academic-level understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Network skills: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and other network stacks is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in business-level English for effective collaboration and communication.
