Responsibilities:

· Lead database development by working with other software developers

· Develop and maintain complex stored procedures

· Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on database engineering best practices

· Handle common database server optimization tasks.

· Performance-tuning SQL Server code and environments, and SQL profiling.

· Manage database security.

· Stay knowledgeable with the latest advances in SQL Server and other data technologies.


Requirements:

· 7+ years of experience developing, maintaining and administering MS SQL Server databases - Must.

· Experience with MS SQL Server 2017 - Must.

· Ability to read, interpret, and improve query execution plans.

· Expert T-SQL development skills including query optimization, stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers.

· Bachelor or Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

· Ability to organize and plan work independently, with little to no supervision.

· Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

· Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.

· Good communication skills.

· Quick learner.
