As a Data Scientist at monday.com you will lead the machine learning efforts in relation to your projects, empowering our marketing, product and customer experience. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary group that also includes developers, data engineers and product managers, all working together to bring value to our end users.
You will be exposed to real-world challenges such as: marketing budget optimization, predicting customer intents and life time value, making personalized recommendations to maximize product discoverability and it’s value, use NLP and LLMs to boost our customer experience team with push insights and automated replies and much more.

About The Role
- You will own and lead your own Machine Learning domains within the Big Brain group- you will do so by working with a highly capable team of developers, data engineers, analysts and product managers. You’ll take full ownership and have a massive impact on the company.
- Your work will range as needed - from enhancing our customer support processes with automated replies using LLM’s, boosting our marketing efficiency with bayesian modeling and classic tabular ML and up to working closely with our core growth and product teams on personalized user experience. You will innovate wherever you can to bring more value to our end users.
- You will collect and analyze a wide range of inputs to identify Machine Learning opportunities which can help our company’s goals. You will do so by transforming business or product problems into machine learning initiatives.
- You will manage a portfolio of machine learning models. Maintaining a healthy mix of short term and long term projects to be able to provide business value without compromising on more complex and innovative approaches.
- You will run Machine Learning experiments and will always strive to measure the impact of your work in production in order to assess if we should keep forward or terminate a project.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning, preferably in a hyper-growth company
- MSc in data science, physics, statistics, math, computer science, industrial engineering or a related quantitative field, PhD an advantage
- Excellent understanding of underlying foundations of ML and Statistics, as well as coding proficiency using related open source libraries and frameworks
- Own end-to-end production-grade ML projects that solve complex business and product problems
- Excellent SQL and Python skills
- Orientation towards long-term impact, but able to strike the right balance between short term goals and longer-term vision
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills coupled with strong business acumen
- You are a fast learner, independent and resourceful, and have the ability to design innovative solutions and test them quickly
