Overview:

Our Compliance Line of Business (LoB) is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer, This role is responsible for quality assurance of one or more Software as a Service (SaaS) products that enable the world’s largest financial institutions to be compliant with global regulations for Trade, Communications, Suitability, and Conduct surveillance. We apply cutting-edge technology to detect and prevent market abuse and financial crime.

Description:

We are looking for an experienced tester for our team in Israel. The Senior Automation Engineer will work with colleagues in Israel and the SURVEIL-X R&D team in India, to rapidly deliver high-quality, innovative SaaS solutions to market.

Main Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Lead and oversee quality assurance, ensuring a proper balance of functional testing and automation
• Be part of a cross-functional Scrum team that develops and supports the product; you will be working hand in hand with the other R&D functions
• Build and execute test suites for distributed product deployment
• Installation and staging of product deployments in a variety of configurations to testing environments
• Build automation test suits for regression and new features
• Testing UI components, Web Services, checking data in databases, automating deployment and data generation
• Open bugs detailing relevant information in a repeatable way
• Reproduce issues, and verify defect resolutions
• Be involved in new features development, provide inputs to POs and Developers on the correct behavior of the system
• Install and Configure testing systems with the latest deliveries for testing.
• Interact closely with Build Engineers on the evolution of Continuous Integration and Deployment
• Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process
  
  

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience

Level Distinctions:

• 7+ years of experience in testing distributed systems with web-based front-end and backend web services as a Senior Automation Engineer with very good test automation skills
• Experience in coding the Automation Framework (TestNG, Selenium, or any other UI/Backend Framework)
• Hands-on experience in the programming language in Java
• Hands-on experience in API testing
• Experience in using code versioning tools like - Git/Bitbucket/SVN
• Experience in preparing Test Plans/Test Strategies/Reports
• Hands on Test Management tools like TestLink, X-Ray
• Expertise in Impact Assessment, Test management, and coordination with a focus on Quality Delivery
• Experience working with Databases, and writing SQL queries for data validation.
• Product company experience, performing testing for distributed enterprise product
• Experienced with installing software builds
• Experienced working on Linux and/or Unix
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be a self-motivated, rapid learner with an active interest in the latest tools, technologies and processes
• Drive to deliver high-quality solutions
• Customer-focused attitude and approach
• Experience working in Agile

• Experience working on DevOps tools, Jenkins, ansible code, etc.
• Experience working with Security tools BlackDuck, Veracode
• Experience working with Test Coverage tool, SonarQube
• ISTQB/ISEB qualifications
• Knowledge of AWS Services
• Knowledge of NICE Actimize Frameworks like AIS, RCM and AAF
