As a Senior Backend Engineer at Via, you’ll join an energetic team and take a key role in our site in TLV. The position is to be part of a super talented & motivated Development team responsible for Via’s Mapping Data Management team. You will be leading development and working with a huge amount of geographic data to serve it for users in high performance and scale.

What You'll Do

• You will be responsible for scalable backend services with challenging geographic data logic.
• Design and Implement new back-end components which are used by applications and other critical components in Via.
• Work with talented engineers to create a stable and scalable product.
• Provide our customers the ability to visualize and manipulate Via’s mapping and geographic data.
  
  

Who You Are

• Minimum 4+ years of experience with Microservices BE development in scale - Must
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with Python - Must
• Experience with Relational DBs - Must
• Experience with PostGIS - a big advantage
• Experience with AWS - Advantage
• Experience with Kubernetes - Advantage
• BSc. Computer Science or similar - Advantage
• IDF technology unit graduate - Advantage
