Now we’re looking for a leader to join the Cato team.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing company and make a real impact on the future of our product while playing a critical role in the design and development of our data platform.

In this role, you will be solving architectural and engineering challenges. You will technically lead our cloud-based proprietary data platform solution. You will lead and mentor data related teams in they day to day work.


Responsibilities:

· Technically lead our robust and diverse proprietary big-data platform

· Technically mentor team members, review code and provide feedback

· Be the go-to person for the most difficult problems

· Perform ongoing research and apply innovative solutions to large scale problems

· Lead software standards and best practices for teams.

· Collaborate with various stakeholders - product management, engineering teams, research, Cato leadership and more.


Must requirements:

· (3+) Previous experience in architect position or similar

· (10+) years of hands-on programming experience in Java/Go/C++

· (10+) Experience designing, building or administering large scale software systems

· Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Self starter with mentoring skills

· Expert in designing and implementing highly resilient big data applications

· Driving changes in adopting new technologies / architecture / process / development infrastructure – from envisioning (coming with the agenda) to actual execution of the strategy

· Experience in driving projects end-to-end, technically while also influencing goals and outcomes
