In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for leading the Solaredge SAAS system architect team responsible for the Solaredge cloud software system architecture. You will lead a team of 3-4 architects designing and architecting existing and new products, including the selection of frameworks, technologies, POCs, and problem analysis. You will work closely with the SW R&D managers and Product teams to define the architecture (System, APIs, technologies, and more) for our existing and future SW suite. 

Requirements:

• B.Sc degree in Computer Science, Software – a must.
• 10+ years as a Software Engineer.
• 5+ years as a Software Architect responsible for enterprise-grade backend systems.
• 2+ years as a Chief Architect or Lead Architect.
• Experienced supervising the design and implementation of complex, highly distributed systems.
• An engineer at the core, capable of planning and leading the adoption of new technologies from the POC stage to production.
• Fluent in applying the different architectural approaches around application and data processing.
• Feels comfortable stepping in and writing the actual code when required.
• Able to consider the impact on developer experience and development life cycle when making decisions.
• Proven track of leading and mentoring other architects and engineers.
• Capable of establishing and orchestrating architecture definition and review processes.
• Highly experienced in the following technology stacks: Spring Boot, Kafka, Kafka Streams, Airflow, and Relational and Non-Relational data stores.
• Deep understanding of IoT and Data Processing at scale.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Analytic approach to problem-solving, and creative thinking.
• A quick learner, highly energetic, team player.
