Mitiga is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer who is ready to join our exciting journey of changing the cyber-security breach readiness and response market.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer at Mitiga, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our development and operations teams to achieve efficient and reliable software delivery. You will work closely with experienced DevOps professionals to learn and implement best practices while gaining real-world experience. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and excited about the DevOps culture.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using IAC and GitOps.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
• Participate in the configuration and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
• Maintain our Kubernetes based production environments.
• Help automate and script routine tasks and processes.
• Contribute to monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high system availability.
• Assist in identifying and resolving infrastructure and application issues, providing support during incidents.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies relevant to DevOps.
  
  

Who you are:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or possesses equivalent experience.
• Eagerness to learn and a strong desire to develop a career in DevOps.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, or python).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  



It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Previous experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Exposure to infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
