You will be responsible for taking the engineering capabilities to the next level in the API protection

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for-

• Working as part of the core team on building Akamai SaaS platform, based on cutting edge cloud-based technologies
• Having full ownership of building- designing, architecting, developing, testing, deploying and operating core components of our platform

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will-

• Have +3 years of experience in designing and developing scalable systems
• Have experience in designing and developing micro-services, including orchestration, scaling and operations, working in a CI/CD methodology
• Have deep understanding of application architectures- HTTP protocol, APIs, frameworks, proxies, gateways, service mesh, etc.
• Have experience with one or more of the software stacks- Python, Go, Java, NodeJS
• Have in-depth experience working with SQL & NoSQL databases
• Have experience working with Cloud infrastructure in AWS / GCP / Azure
