Fintastic is an early-stage startup based in Tel Aviv, founded by successful repeat entrepreneurs and funded by top-tier VCs. 

We are developing a first-of-its-kind, AI-driven, financial planning and analysis platform for finance departments in companies, that is set to disrupt the FP&A software market. 

We are searching for an independent and self-driven backend lead, with proven system design and hands-on implementation experience who flourishes in the environment of a young, dynamic startup. 

As the backend leader, you will be responsible of leading the technology, architecture, best practices and mentor team members, build the core foundations that brings customers value today, but will also enable us to grow and meet the demands of robustness and scale later.

As the core dev team grows, this position will have the opportunity to grow into a significant leadership position.

Requirements:

• Very strong backend development experience, with considerable accomplishments in Python.
• Hands-on experience with designing, building, deploying, and maintaining scalable systems on the cloud.
• Good understanding of critical production systems concepts - high availability, reliability, security and scalability
• Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure, databases, microservices & CI/CD.
• Experience in data engineering, focusing on data pipelines and modeling - an advantage.
• Enthusiastic about code quality, architecture, design, testing, and performance.
• Team player, highly motivated, can-do approach.
