Zorro is an early-stage startup dedicated to revolutionizing the landscape of health benefits. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you're enthusiastic about crafting data infrastructure from the ground up and have a passion for data-driven solutions, we'd love to have you on board.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a data-driven product that caters to both employers and employees alike. As part of a small data team in a growing startup you will have the chance to wear (or at least try) multiple hats, including those of a Product Analyst and a Data Scientist - in addition to your core responsibilities as a Data Engineer.

Key Qualifications

- 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer. 

- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting.

- Strong command of SQL.

- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as DBT and Rivery.

- Experience with data visualization tools.

- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

- Experience as a Data scientist or as a Product Analyst - a plus

- Experience establishing data projects and/or teams from scratch - a plus
