Job Description
As Data Analytics Solutions Engineer in our Managed Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between data sources and valuable business insights. You will collaborate closely with diverse business groups, learning about their unique data sources and requirements, and use your expertise to develop robust solutions. The primary focus of your role will be on data ingestion, enrichment, and the creation of business models and dashboards. Your technical skills, problem-solving abilities and customer obsession will be instrumental in delivering successful data analytics projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various business groups within Intel to understand their data requirements and objectives.
- Utilize our data platform and develop Python plug-ins to ingest data from different sources, including databases (relational and non-relational), files, REST APIs, etc.
- Create Python Spark notebooks to enrich and transform data, ensuring it is ready for analysis and modeling.
- Develop and maintain data connectors and pipelines to integrate disparate data sources and ensure smooth data flow.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to create meaningful business models and analytical solutions.
- Design and develop interactive and insightful dashboards using tools like PowerBI to present data-driven insights in a visually appealing manner.
- Participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and maintaining high code quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- +4 years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, solution analyst, BI developer, data scientist, or similar domains.
- Proficiency in SQL to build complex queries and perform data manipulation, aggregation, and transformation tasks.
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with Python-based data processing frameworks like Spark.
- Experience working with a variety of data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, APIs, etc
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex data-related challenges.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or similar.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and team members.
- A proactive and self-driven approach.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
