Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated data scientist to join our BI team. As a data scientist, you will work on a variety of projects that drive important business processes and decisions. You will own projects end-to-end, from problem definitions and data extraction to model training and implementation. You will work on diverse and challenging datasets in different business domains that require various modeling techniques. You will collaborate with other data scientists, data analysts, and developers to produce scalable, efficient, and accurate data science solutions to our core challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Own data science and advanced analytics projects end-to-end, from problem formulation to implementation.
• Monitor the performance of existing models, identify potential improvements, and reiterate when needed.
• Write clean, efficient, and well documented code.
• Collaborate with other team members.
• Communicate modeling decision and project outcomes to relevant stakeholders in a technical and non-technical way.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years experience as a data scientist.
• Bachelor’s (Master's degree – advantage) in computer science / statistics / mathematics / industrial engineering / economics, or equivalent.
• Experience with time series modeling.
• High proficiency in python (including relevant libraries), SQL and git.
• Deep understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts.
• Excellent level of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working in a cloud environment – Advantage.
• Experience with MLOps tools – Advantage.
• Experience with BigQuery and the GCP eco system – Advantage.
• Experience with Apache Airflow – Advantage.
