As a Software Engineer in Augmedics, you will be responsible for researching/developing/integrating state-of-the-art computer vision methods for registration, calibration, tracking, segmentation, as well as for general application programming including user interface.

Main tasks, duties, responsibilities and authorities:

• Develop software for medical devices (embedded and PC) performing registration, tracking, etc.
• Bugs and User complaints investigations.
• Create unit tests for the work you perform and work with other team members to perform integration testing.
• Document the design of the software you work as part of the software design documentation
• Plan your work and meet the timelines of the tasks planned.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary environment that includes optics, mechanics and electronics.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by using good engineering practices and habits and that the software is documented as required.
• Contribute to the company IP (patents).

Requirements:

• Bs/Ms. in a relevant discipline from a recognized university – computer science and graduate level preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Working experience in medical device development and multidisciplinary company.
• Modern C++.
• Develop in Android\Linux.
• Embedded Devices development.
• Performance\Realtime software development.
• Qt - advantage.
• 2D/3D Computer Vision and/or Image Processing – advantage.
• Jira, and Jenkins – advantage.
• Team player - Assist others with tasks not under your responsibility
• Multi tasking – Ability to move between several tasks\projects
• Self learning - Learn new knowledge\Features\Code on your own
• Creative thinking - Solve problems with low resources
