We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead for our Big Data team, to lead one of the core teams at Hunters and build a real time ingestion & transformation engine handling petabytes of data on top of all cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design robust, scalable, secure engineering solutions that are easy to maintain.
• Make sure the team’s systems are monitored, highly available, and resilient.
• Focus on bringing value to customers through “low touch” interfaces.
• Manage a scrum team, working closely with your dedicated product manager, planning and tracking execution of tasks.
• Mentor Big Data Engineers. Design a career path, give constant feedback and build a winning team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data engineering and data science with a focus on Java/Scala, Spark/Flink/Kafka, and cloud architecture (EMR/K8S).
• 3+ years of experience in managing and leading a team of engineers
• Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, data processing, and data modeling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data governance practices, data security and performance & cost optimization.
• Advantage - Strong understanding of Agile methodology, Scrum & working with product managers.
