Pango is looking for a DBA to join our DBA team, in the team you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, security and performance of critical SQL Server, My SQL, MongoDB servers in a cloud environment (AWS), to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate services.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage SQL Server 2017 (on Linux & Window server), My SQL RDS and MongoDB (on Linux & Atlas) databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
• Continuous support of the development team by performing a code review and T-SQL performance tuning.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers.
• Be part of the dynamic and agile core R&D teams.
• Collaborate with 3^rd party consultants.

What you’ll bring:

•   B.A\BSc in computer science\information systems of known university\college

Or service in a relevant tech military unit, for at least 2 years as a DBA.

•   At least 2-year hands-on managing and working with SQL Server - a must.

•   Proven experience in database design and maintenance.

•   Proven experience in development with T-SQL.

•   Proven experience in index strategies, DR and high availability such as RSAG, AAG, Mirroring, Log Shipping and etc., security, performance tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

•   Strong database infrastructure and development skills.

•   At least 1 - year working with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) – An advantage.

•   At least 1- year hands-on managing and working with MySQL and\or MongoDB in the cloud – An advantage.

•   Familiar with Linux environment, Power Shell, Python.

•   Analytical mind, strong business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems

•   Problem-solving attitude.

•   A team player, service-oriented, good self-learning skills.

•   Highly motivated and passionate for learning new technologies and methodologies.

•   Assertive and self-managed.

•   Fluent Hebrew and English.
