We are looking for a highly motivated, Staff Software Engineer, to join our team!

We are looking for a brilliant and experienced Software Engineer to work on low level software and develop super-efficient algorithmic code on GPU servers. The software engineer will be responsible for a central subsystem in Ultima Genomics product, which receives an optical signal at a very high data rate and implements sophisticated computer vision algorithms. The major development shall be done in CUDA, integrated in C++ and Python environments. Working close with algorithm researchers, rest of the system software developers, optical engineers and the other disciplines.

How You’ll Contribute

• Lead the design and implementation of CUDA based subsystem
• Write efficient code implementing computer vision algorithms
• Perform performance monitoring and code tuning
• Participate in the research and definition of the system algorithmic concept
• Integrate with Machine Learning components.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience, MS and 8+ years of related experience, or a PhD in a scientific discipline and 5+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer
• 5+ years of experience working with C++ and low-level development
• 2+ years of experience working with CUDA
• Highly experienced with NVIDIA GPU and its development tools
• Experience with other processors low-level programing – an advantage
• Familiarity with public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP), Containers (docker) and Orchestrators (K8S) – an advantage
• Managerial experience as team / group leader – an advantage
