As a Software Group manager, you will be right in the middle of all this. Your responsibility will include the full development cycle, from initial design and up to production. You will work in a multinational team with multi-disciplinary products, in an agile environment. You will invoke your leadership skills to balance resources and priorities and lead your group to successfully provide our worldwide customers with quality products.


Key Responsibilities


Lead the software development team and manage the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.


Work closely with stakeholders to identify software requirements and ensure that software solutions meet those needs.


Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.


Manage software development projects, including tracking progress, identifying and resolving issues, and communicating project status to stakeholders.


Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the software development team.


Ensure that the software development team follows best practices and industry standards for software development, testing, and deployment.


Manage and mentor software development team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.


Collaborate with other departments to ensure the software development team is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.


Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development and identify opportunities for the organization to adopt new technologies or practices.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


10+ years of experience in software development, including at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.


Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure – must.


OOP languages experience (Java/.Net) – must.


Working level English - must.


Working level Russian - huge advantage.


Proven track record of successfully leading software development projects from conception to deployment.


Strong knowledge of software development best practices and industry standards.


Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Experience with agile software development methodologies.
