About the position:

We are looking for an experienced and talented Data Scientist to join our Research and Development (R&D) team in our rapidly growing department. As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data-driven insights, developing machine learning (ML) models, and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to drive innovation and contribute to our company's success.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prototype, and analyze DL/ML models in fields such as Clustering, Genetic Algorithms, Anomaly Detection, and more.
• Work closely with domain experts in the agriculture area on all stages, from idea to production.
• Articulate and translate business questions, utilizing statistical techniques to arrive at data-driven answers.
• Demonstrate leadership and self-direction, fostering a learning environment and teaching others.
• Fine-tune algorithms use statistical and probability skills to achieve desired results.
• Design and improve data science pipelines.
• Develop the algorithm processing layer of our platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce machine learning models and algorithms using cloud technologies.
• Apply a deep and diverse knowledge of machine learning approaches and algorithm families.
• Demonstrate strong analytical abilities, technical orientation, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Take initiative as a self-starter, learn quickly, and exhibit a passionate, creative, and can-do attitude.
• Work effectively as a team player, contributing to a collaborative environment.
• Communicate effectively in spoken and written English.

What are we looking FOR?

• 4+ years of experience in algorithms and data science programming, specifically in Python and relevant libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.
• Demonstrated experience using machine learning tools and approaches to solve complex data problems.
• BSc+ in Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent from a top university (advanced degree a plus).
• Experience with cloud technologies for producing machine learning models and algorithms.
• Knowledge and understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with the agriculture and irrigation industry is an advantage.
• Experience working with database languages.
• Strong analytical abilities, technical orientation, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with a fast-learning ability and a passionate, creative, and can-do attitude.
• Excellent team player
• English communication skills, both spoken and written.
